Tangible: Where Art and Technology Converge

February 1, 2021
through May 9, 2021

“Artifacts of a different time” is one of the phrases that artist Jordan Fowler uses to describe his sculptures. Fowler combines traditional welding techniques with contemporary computer science to create interactive and conceptual works of art that echo the ruins of a science fiction world gone awry. His work is a product of considering the role that technology plays in our society. All at once, the digital seems tangible, materializing before our very eyes. As we lift off into the digital age, Fowler’s work begs the question, how is technology shaping our own perception of reality?
