Youth Art Camp 2025 – Art Around The World

June 23 - June 27

Youth Art Camp 2025

The theme for Art Camp 2025 is Then and Now, Near and Far. This summer camp will consist of five weeks with unique World Culture related themes ranging from local Appalachian handcrafting traditions to Art History focused-projects from cultures around the world. Children will make a variety of projects each week; including paper basket weaving, exploring ancient cave art, studying brushwork of the French Impressionists, or even learning about animals all around the world!

Art Around The World

June 23rd–27th

  • Campers will begin to expand their horizons during this exploratory week of art camp! The week will focus on various continents like South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Each day campers will create two pieces of artwork; one based on ancient or traditional work from the continent of origin and another piece based on a contemporary artist from the continent. This will give campers a scope of the range of artwork created from the region that we will discuss that day.
