Photography is so much more than a quick phone snap; the hands-on experience of analog processes are undeniably fascinating. Here is your opportunity to get a glimpse into the world of darkroom film photography and alternative processes.
First in a 6-session series, B&W Film Photography introduces students to the basics of shooting with a 35mm film camera. The first part of the class will be spent going over basic camera use and exposure of shooting a roll of Black & White film on the Museum campus. You’ll learn how to load film in your camera, receive tips for shooting manually, and receive 1 on 1 time with the instructor to ask any questions. After a lunch break, students will develop their roll of film in Art Lab’s darkroom.
All supplies will be provided, except for a 35mm film camera and B&W film.
Students do not need to register for the entire series, they can take only the classes that work for them.
