Class Title: Beginner Fabric Printing & Dyeing

Location: 3D Classroom, Art Lab lower level (stair access only)
Skill level: Beginners/Intermediate
Audience: Teen – adult
Description: Participants will explore basic techniques for printing and dying cotton fabric. We will work with natural cotton bandanas and processes including block carving and printing, stenciling, glue resist, wax resist, and more (time permitting). The focus of this class is less on finished product and more on process and experimentation with the goal of getting participants comfortable with printing techniques, unfamiliar tools, and layering color and imagery.
