Packets with completed designs must be returned to the museum by September 1st.
Selected artists will be notified by October 1st, and will receive their wolf by November 1st. Artists will have several months to complete their designs, but all wolves must be finished by April 1st, 2026.
Young artists below 18 years of age can design a wolf pup, or regional art teachers can use this opportunity to create a collaborative project by having their art class design a wolf pup.
All wolves will ultimately be auctioned off at the William King Museum of Art 2026 Mistletoe Market Gala. The majority of the proceeds will go to the artist and the remaining proceeds will go to William King Museum of Art to continue funding The Abingdon Wolf Project in partnership with the Town of Abingdon.
