Teen Camp: Animal & Nature Art July 7th–11th

July 7 - July 11

Then and Now, Near and Far. This summer, teens will have the opportunity to learn about art-making past and present, close to home, and far away. Week One will cover ancient art-making techniques from around the world. Week Two will focus on modern and contemporary western art movements and their art processes. Week Three will explore regional Appalachian crafts, and Week Four will investigate art from around the world with a highlight on Indigenous contemporary art. July’s special Week Five will tap into biomes, nature, and animal art as a precursor to future programming on our incoming Worrell Animal Art Collection!
