Photography is so much more than a quick phone snap; the hands-on experience of analog processes are undeniably fascinating. Here is your opportunity to get a glimpse into the world of darkroom film photography and alternative processes.
Medium Format Photography introduces shooting with medium format cameras. You will learn hands on how to load film, choose your exposure manually, and properly use various medium format cameras including Holga, Mamiya, and Hasselblad.
Students will learn on provided medium format cameras during the class day. Students are encouraged to bring their own medium format camera if they have one. If students do not have a medium format camera they may use a Holga owned by the instructor and will need to bring a roll of 120 film to shoot.
