Youth Art Camp 2025 – Ancient Art Week

June 2 - June 6

Youth Art Camp 2025

The theme for Art Camp 2025 is Then and Now, Near and Far. This summer camp will consist of five weeks with unique World Culture related themes ranging from local Appalachian handcrafting traditions to Art History focused-projects from cultures around the world. Children will make a variety of projects each week; including paper basket weaving, exploring ancient cave art, studying brushwork of the French Impressionists, or even learning about animals all around the world!

Ancient Art Week

June 2nd–6th

  • This week of art camp is inspired by artwork created thousands of years ago! We are going all the way back to prehistoric times and creating artwork inspired by cave paintings. Then, campers will join us on a journey through time and explore various artworks from major civilizations throughout history. Campers will create art based on Ancient Egypt, Neolithic China, Mesopotamia, and more!
